The Europeanisation of the employment policies in the new member states of the EU
The presentation will deal with the conflict between the Europeanisation on the one hand and the national traditions in the other hand. This conflict will be analysed at the example of the polish employment policy and the influence of the European employment strategy.

About Paul: Paul Marx, 25 years old, born in Hamburg, grown up in Köln. He studied political science at the universities of Marburg, Berlin and Warsaw (Erasmus-year).
Main focuses: European Integration, Political Economy, Employment policies. He will write in April his dissertation about the topic 'professional education and emplyment policy in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

Die Europäisierung der Beschäftigungspolitik in den neuen Mitgliedsstaaten der EU

Das Referat wird sich mit dem Konflikt zwischen Europäisierung einerseits und nationalen Traditionen andererseits beschäftigen. Dieser soll beispielhaft anhand der Arbeitsmarktpolitik Polens und dem Einfluss der Europäischen Beschäftigungsstrategie analysiert werden.

Über Paul Marx: 25 Jahre, geboren in Hamburg, aufgewachsen in Köln. Studium der Politikwissenschaft in Marburg, Berlin und Warschau (ein Jahr als Erasmus-Student). Studienschwerpunkte: Europäische Integration, Wirtschaftspolitik, Arbeitsmarktpolitik. Ab April schreibe ich meine Diplom-Arbeits zum Thema Berufsausbildung und Arbeitsmarktpolitik in Deutschland, Österreich und Niederlande
